Join us this festive season for a series of FREE family activities and the chance to meet Santa in his grotto, officially opening on Saturday 22 November! Expect roaming entertainment throughout the centre on launch day as we celebrate the start of the Christmas season in true festive style.

Step into the magic and say hello to Santa himself in his cosy grotto at Victoria Place. The grotto is open on selected dates between Sat 22 November & Weds 24th December and will be welcoming visitors free of charge! Don’t forget to bring your Christmas wish list!

Free Family Fun Events
From penguin adventures to reindeer games, there’s something for everyone to enjoy in the run-up to Christmas with our FREE festive events!
📍Location: Peacocks Food Court
These are all FREE drop in sessions, so if it’s busy, you may need to queue. We will ask you to register your attendance before entering.
Saturday 22 November | 11am – 4pm
Arctic School – Dress up as a penguin, join penguin school, and make your own arctic slime!
Saturday 6 December | 11am – 4pm
Gingerbread Fun – Decorate your own gingerbread man and enjoy Stories with Mrs Claus!
Saturday 13 December | 11am – 4pm
Elf Yourself! – Get rosy red cheeks, pop on an elf hat, decorate a wooden Christmas tree, enjoy a candy cane, and take home your Elf Certificate!
Friday 19 December | 12pm – 4pm
Bauble Decorating – Create your own festive bauble to make and take home!
Tuesday 23 December | 11am – 4pm
Reindeer Fun! – Make your own reindeer food, play festive reindeer games, and get ready for Santa’s big night!

SEN sessions – SEN children are welcome at any of the Grotto sessions, but the first 4 sessions each Grotto day are quieter sessions when the shopping centre isn’t as busy. If your child/children would benefit from this, look for the gold booking times.
