Christmas kicks off at Victoria Place
Published: 28/11/2022
The festivities have begun here at Victoria Place, with the opening of Santa’s grotto last week and the Christmas lights up and sparkling in the mall.
We were thrilled to see lots of families over the weekend coming to meet Santa in his free grotto. Over 180 children decorated wreaths at the free festive arts and crafts workshop.
On the weekend, families also brought their teddies into the centre to give them a new lease of life, at the free ‘Repair-a-Bear’ workshops.
This event was part of the line-up of free toy-themed events that we have hosted this month, as we have become home to ‘The Forgotten Toys’. Partnering with local charity Sebastian’s Action Trust, we have been collecting pre-loved toys at our grotto, that will then be distributed to new owners who can love them once again. We're thrilled that over 100 toys have already been donated within the first week.
