Join us in Jubilee Square 2-5 June for a host of activities to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.
Beacon Lighting Ceremony
On Thursday 2nd June, join us at 9pm for the Beacon Lighting Ceremony, for a unique opportunity to celebrate Her Majesty the Queen and her achievements. In particular, we would like to invite personnel from frontline and emergency services to join in, to enable us to say thank you for their dedication during the pandemic.

Service of Thanksgiving
On Sunday 5th June, you are invited to a service of Thanksgiving organised by Christ Church which will take place at 10.30am in Jubilee Square, followed by a BBQ in the Church garden, family activities and live music.
Eating Out:
Pub, bars and restaurants will also be joining the Platinum Jubilee celebrations, as eating areas will be set up to create a street party atmosphere in the heart of the town. Enjoy a menu fit for a queen or sip your afternoon tea on the terrace while enjoying a slice of cake.
Our Big Screen Schedule:
We’ll be broadcasting Jubilee programmes and documentaries on our big screen over the weekend. So come and relax in the square and find all out about our splendid Queen.
