Families enjoy magical stories

We were so pleased to see lots of children last weekend enjoying magical stories by award winning storyteller Danyah Miller.
Over 200 children attended the free storytelling sessions on Saturday in front of our grotto. Using puppets and teddies as props, renowned storyteller Danyah, inspired families with her stories about ‘The Forgotten Toys’.
This event was part of the line-up of free toy-themed events at Victoria Place this festive season, as we become home to ‘The Forgotten Toys’. Partnering with local charity Sebastian’s Action Trust, we are collecting pre-loved toys at our grotto, that will then be distributed to new owners who can love them once again.
Don't miss our next event on the 26th November! Bring your teddies into the centre to give them a new lease of life, at our free ‘Repair-a-Bear’ workshops. Children will also be able to enjoy free festive arts and crafts on offer.
