Charm School - How to layer jewellery
Published: 21/03/2019
Jewellery is an easy way to refresh your look, and at the moment, theres no such thing as too much. When it comes to our necks, wrists and ears, more is definitelymore.
A simple necklace or two can instantly pull together an outfit and add that extra layer of togetherness to your look. Once youve got yourgo-to necklaces sorted, start building yourwrist repertoire and then tie it all together with a matching pair of earrings.
Here are our favourite jewellery trends of the moment and how to layer and wear them your way.
Charmed, Im sure
Jewellery is getting incredibly charming lately. Chanel, Tiffany and Thomas Sabo are just a few of the designers whove launched collections of cute charms. Were obsessed too. Get celestial with moons and stars to give any outfit an effortless, bohemian vibe.Charm bracelets just got a very grown-up update too so layer your wrists with dainty decoration tofreshen up any simple shirt or jumper. Or ideally, do both.
I love stacking bracelets at the minute, the more charms the better. Its fortune teller chic. Erin, Fashion and Home Editor.
Silver wares
A golden (or silver) rule of layering is to stick to just one colour. Go all-out gold or silver-on-silver (on silver) but dont mix and match the two. If youre team silver, keep earrings and bracelets fairly minimal to stay in line with the effortless effect of the metal. Were in love with combining multiple silver chains over a simple white top or bare skin (hurry up summer!).

I love the simple elegance of silver jewellery, its a little more subtle when layered too. Shona, Social Media Manager
Gold it right there
Go for outfit gold with asimple pendant necklace or layer several to give your neckline a real glow-up. When layering, experiment with different lengths of chains and delicate or chunky widths to find yoursignature combination. If you want to break up the colour, mix in natural textures like stone or on-trend seashell accents.
Im lost without my go-to gold coin pendant at the minute, my outfit is incomplete without it. Kaitlin, Fashion and Home Editor.
